BEING IN DEBT AND GOING ON A SHOPPING SPREE DO NOT GO TOGETHER!

BEING IN DEBT AND GOING ON A SHOPPING SPREE DO NOT GO TOGETHER!

We need to agree on one thing,if you are in debt,do not continue buying and buying and buying. The concept is simple:excessive buying got you in this predicament,so obviously continued buying will only escalate the problem.
If you cannot control yourself,do not attend product promos, because like we will discover later on,the advice of sales people only leads to buying and more buying. Those massive discounts stores at this season in your life are a no go area.
Those very tempting buy one ,and get one free adverts are a no go area, because for starters, you do not qualify as a customer,as  you simply cannot afford to " pay for one " anymore. That shoe rack has enough shoes ,i did not say plenty, but enough shoes already, considering that you are already in the red when it comes to your bank statement.
At this stage it is very important for me to tell you that you should not be fooled to think that the "massive" sale ,or the one time 50% off sale at your favorite shop, will be the best, let alone the last one,try them next season,it will be said to be even bigger and ,you guessed right,BETTER!
Remember if we are going to go from debts to financial freedom, the first step is to admit that debts are bad,and are a disease that fights our dignity and threatens our survival, therefore like all diseases we need to fight debts with all that we have, including fighting our desire to continue buying.
One thing we need to be clear about when fighting debts is that every time ,and note that I am not saying every month;but every time you get an income, you must make sure that your debts are also serviced proportionally. It is an illusion to maintain them,as clearly nothing will be changing, but it is advisable to reduce them every time you receive an income.
This plan repeated over a period of time, depending on how deep in debt one has been, will eventually lead to all debts being extinguished, and the character of not falling for impulsive buying will also be assassinated, thereby making you a good candidate to move from debts to financial freedom.
